In Turkmenistan, polling is underway in parliamentary election.
Two hundred eighty four candidates are contesting for one hundred twenty five seats in the single-chamber legislature of the country.
They belong to three parties, with some independent candidates but all of them are considered loyal to President Kurbanguly Berdymukhamedov. APP/AFP
