KARACHI – Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi will be chief guest of thePSL final while various high ranking civil and military officials,political personalities and renowned people from different walks of lifewill watch the match in the stadium.
Final of Pakistan Super League (PSL) will be played between defendingchampions Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United in Karachi tonight.
The match will start at 8 p.m. Radio Pakistan will broadcast runningcommentary on the match from National Stadium Karachi.
Full of entertainment closing ceremony of PSL-III will also be held at theStadium.
Meanwhile, adequate security arrangements have been made to maintain lawand order on the occasion. Traffic plan has also been chalked out tofacilitate the citizens and the spectators.
The gates to National Stadium Karachi have been opened for spectators ofPSL final and people have started arriving in big numbers to see theirfavourite players in action.
Addressing a press conference at National Stadium, Islamabad United CaptainJ.P Duminy said that it is a very great moment to play in Pakistan.Pakistan Super League is a big event, he added.
He said that our team players are very much optimistic for final and hopedthat good cricket will be played by both teams.
Waqar Younis said that Karachi is cricket loving city and it is a veryimportant moment for Pakistan especially Karachi that international playersarrived in the country.
Addressing a press conference at National Stadium, Peshawar Zalmi captainDarren Sammy said that we are here to defend our title and we have planneda strategy to tackle the players of Islamabad United.
He said that cricket is back in Pakistan especially in Karachi and happy tohear that West Indies cricket team is also coming to Pakistan. He asked theKarachiites to support the Peshawar Zalmi team and wear yellowshirts.
Pakistan Super League official social media account has announced that theclosing ceremony of Pakistan Super League Season-III will be full ofentertainment at National Stadium Karachi.
According to a tweet on Saturday, Strings Band, Ali Zafar, Shahzad Roy,Farhan Saeed and Aima Baig will perform during the closing ceremony.
