MUMBAI- Virat Kohli has cancelled a booking of a super luxury apartment inWorli area of Mumbai. Kohli had booked a Rs 34 crore flat in the Omkar 1973tower located in the tony Worli area in June 2016.
The Indian cricket team captain had bought the 7,171-sqft sea-viewapartment on the 35th floor of the under construction tower C of thissuper-luxury project for Rs 34 crore. The project is being developed byOmkar Realtors & Developers.
A source close to the development confirmed the cancellation of thetransaction saying, Kohli recently leased out a sea-view apartment in theskyscraper by the Raheja group in the nearby Dr Annie Besant Road for amonthly rental of Rs 15 lakh.
Earlier this month, Kohli introduced his fans to his new home in Mumbaithrough a picture on Instagram.
Overlooking skyscrapers with a view of the sea, Kohli captioned thepicture: “Where else would you wanna be when you have such a stunning viewfrom home!”
