KABUL – Fourteen ISIS militants were killed in US drone strike in MehtarKhan area of Haska Mina district in Nangarhar province of Afghanistanbordering Pakistan.

Atleast sixteen militants belonging to the ISIS terrorist group and Talibanhave been killed during the latest operations in eastern Nangarhar provinceof Afghanistan.

The provincial government media office in a statement said the militantswere killed in the past twenty four hours in Haska Mina and Khogyanidistricts.

At least twelve foreign insurgents were also among those killed, theprovincial government said but did not elaborate further regarding thenationalities of those killed in the raid.
