LAHORE – Pakistan’s first transgender newscaster has been unveiled by alocal news channel. This would be the first time something like this hashappened in the country.

Shiraz Hassan, a senior Pakistani journalist who is associated with BBCnews took to his twitter to break the news.

“Pakistan’s first news caster on screen now -Maavia Malik”: wrote Shirazalong with Maavia’s picture.

However Shiraz hasn’t given any further details as yet.

However, according to our sources, Maavia Malik has already walked the rampfor the PFDC Sunsilk fashion week that just passed.
