PESHAWAR – The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Energy Development Organization and theAsian Development Bank have signed an agreement in Islamabad for theconstruction of a hydel power station on River Kunhar in District Mansehra.

Under the agreement, the Bank will provide six hundred and forty fivemillion dollar for the construction of the hydel power station.

It will be completed in five years. The station will produce three hundredmegawatt electricity.
