First Shahid Afridi and now Hasan Ali rattles Indian Military and Media both

LAHORE – First Shahid Afridi and now Pakistani cricketer Hasan Ali hasrattled Indian Military and Media both.

The flag-lowering ceremony at the Attari-Wagah Border is not a new thing asarmed forces of India and Pakistan participate daily in the ceremony.

But on Saturday, there was a twist in the tale as Pakistan’s fast bowlerHasan Ali entered the drill and performed his signature wicket-takinggesture towards the Indian armed force.

In a video that has gone viral, Ali could be seen performing his popularact during the ceremony. He could be seen patting his thigh, raising armslike Rangers and celebrating just as he usually does after taking a wicketin a cricket match. He was later seen being escorted back by a man incivilian clothes as he received loud applause from the Pakistani audience.

Ali’s antics, however, have not gone down well with India’s Border SecurityForce (BSF). The armed force has decided to lodge a formal protest with thePakistani Rangers.

“The act has hit the sanctity of the parade. We will lodge a protest withPakistan Rangers.

Before or after the parade, the people are free to do such things, but notin the middle of the parade,” BSF Inspector General (Punjab Frontier) MukulGoel was quoted as saying by *The Indian Express*.

The pictures of Ali’s antics were also tweeted by the official Twitterhandle of the Pakistan Cricket Board. The national team was at the borderto watch the flag-lowering ceremony.

After his antics, Ali took to twitter saying, “Always stay high like a moonmera Pakistan.”
