TOKYO- The 6th round of Pakistan-Japan Security Dialogue held in Tokyo onFriday, comprehensively reviewed bilateral security ties and evolvingsecurity situation in their respective regions as well as multilateralsecurity scenario.

The Pakistan side was led by Additional Secretary (Asia Pacific) ImtiazAhmad while Director General, Southeast and Southwest Asian AffairsDepartment of Japan Shigeki Takizaki represented his delegation.

The Additional Secretary briefed the Japanese side on the comprehensiveefforts Pakistan has made towards helping Afghanistan in furtheringAfghan-owned and Afghan-led efforts for peace and stability.
