KABUL – At least four Taliban militants were killed in a night raidconducted by the Special Operations Forces of the Afghan Intelligence,National Directorate of Security (NDS), in eastern Nangarhar province ofAfghanistan.

The provincial government media office in a statement said the raid wasconducted late on Wednesday night in the vicinity of Wazir area in Khogyanidistrict.

The statement further added that a local commander of the Taliban groupidentified as Abdullah alias Mazlumyar was among those killed.

A large number of weapons, ammunition, and explosives belonging to theTaliban insurgents were also destroyed during the operation, the statementadded.
