LONDON – Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has said that he will extendhis stay in London if the court granted him exemption from appearance.

Talking to the media on Thursday, he said that his lawyers will file anapplication seeking exemption from appearance in court.

“I will return to Pakistan on Sunday if the court did not grant himexemption,” he said.

Nawaz Sharif confirmed that his meeting with Prime Minister Shahid KhaqanAbbasi in scheduled on Saturday.
