DUBAI – UAE Armed Forces’ Anti-aircraft defence unit was able to interceptan Iranian Qassef-1 aircraft loaded with explosives in attempt to strikestrategic positions of the Yemeni Forces, supported by the Arab Coalitionon Yemen’s Red Sea Coast, Khaleej Times has reported.

Upon examining the aircraft, military defence teams discovered a largequantity of explosive materials intended to be used against the Yemeniforces.

The Saudi-led Arab Coalition continues to counter these Iraniancapabilities which pose a direct threat not only to the Yemeni forces andpeople, but also threaten the Red Sea Cost shipping lane’s movement, alongwith civilian infrastructure.
