LAHORE: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has raised serious concernsover the suspicious property transactions carried out by the RailwaysMinister Khawaja Saad Rafique.
NAB Lahore Director General Shahzad Saleem remarked on Wednesday that theproperty dealings of Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique have been foundto be ‘suspicious’.
While speaking to media, he said that NAB has not leaked any documentsregarding any political leader, adding that NAB will continue to workearnestly and uncover the truth in front of everyone.
Responding to a question related to former director general LahoreDevelopment Authority Ahad Cheema, Saleem said the suspect has beenremanded by the court and is being investigated in more than one case.
After initiating the probe into Paragon Housing Society, we found out thatCheema and his family members were illegally benefitting from theirinvolvement in a public sector scheme.
“The bank accounts of Ahad Cheema and his family members went upconsiderably.”
