ISLAMABAD – Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and his family’s Londonflats were transferred to Nelson and Nescol companies in 1993 and 1995, theBritish Land Registry revealed on Tuesday.
The British Land Registry revealed that the first flat in central London’sMayfair residence was bought at 17 Avenfield House by Nescol Ltd on June 1,1993. The second, flat 16 was bought by Nelson Enterprises Ltd in the samebuilding on July 31, 1995. The third flat, 16-A, was bought on the samedate by the same company while the fourth, 17-A, was bought by Nescol onJuly 23, 1996.
It revealed that the flats were purchased when Nawaz Sharif’s childrenweren’t earning, while the Mosaic Fonseka had also declared Maryam Nawaz abeneficial owner.
The record of the British Land Registry is also a part of a report of JointInvestigation Team (JIT) formed by the Supreme Court over Panamagate case.
