PESHAWAR – At least two security official sustained injuries after anattack was launched from Afghanistan near the border in Lower KurramAgency, local media reported on Sunday.
The local administration said that the attack was carried out from theKhost, a province of Afghanistan, on a border post in Laka Tika area.
The Pakistani forces have also launched a counter strike after the attack.An investigation into the incident has been started.
The strike comes days after Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi visitedAfghanistan where he met President Ashraf Ghani to discuss matters ofmutual interest.
The two countries have been accusing each other of providing shelter toterrorists and carrying out attacks.
Keeping in view the vulnerability, the Pakistan Amry has started fencingthe border in order to curtail the movement of militants across the border.
