LAHORE – The senior leadership of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz has decidedto woo the disgruntled member of party Ch Nisar.
According to media reports, Shehbaz met with angry Nisar to get his supportfor general elections on Sunday.The meeting held on an occasion when ChNisar is continuously expressing his reservations with party leadership.
Both leaders agreed to solve outstanding issues.Shehbaz also advised Nisarto remain silent on party matters.
The senior leaders of PML-N also discussed the issues relating to party’sreorganization in Sindh.
Moreover, according to sources, the two party leaders discussed in thetwo-hour-long meeting the recent defection of PML-N lawmakers from southPunjab.
Furthermore, in February it was reported that Nawaz had parted ways withhis longtime associate Nisar and decided to not extend an invitation to himfor the Central Working Committee session.
In view of his services for PML-N for last 22 years, the party leaderrequested him to contest elections from PML-N’s platform.
It is worth mentioning that Nisar in his recent press conference said thathe had not asked for the party ticket to anyone.He was responding toNawaz’s daughter and upcoming party leader Maryam’s statement that peoplenot hopeful of getting tickets from the PML-N want to join rival PakistanTehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
