AHMEDABAD: An unmanned Remotely Piloted Aircraft of the Indian Navy crashedon Saturday in Gujarat, about 25 kms from Porbandar. The aircraft was on aroutine surveillance mission when it lost datalink communication with theGround Station.
No casualties or damage to property caused by the crash has been reportedso far.
This is not the first time that Indian Navy UAV has crashed. In last fewweeks Indian Navy jets and UAVs have crashed depicting seriousmantainenance crisis in the Indian Navy fleet struggling to keep theoperations safely.
