210th Corps Commanders Conference held in GHQ

RAWALPINDI – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa presidedover the 210th Corps Commanders’ Conference at GHQ on Wednesday.

The forum reviewed evolving geo-strategic environment and securitysituation of the country. Progress of ongoing Operation Raddul Fasaad andKhushal Balochistan program was also discussed.

The forum acknowledged contributions and sacrifices of all nationalstakeholders, especially the resilient Pakistanis in rejecting terrorismand bringing about security stability in the country.

The participants discussed lines of stability operations to carry forwardthe gains of successful kinetic operations.

The COAS directed that the stability and development efforts must trickledown dividends of peace to the public while control of cleared areas isbeing handed over to civil administration with enhanced capacity. “Keydividend remains linked to mainstreaming of FATA in line with popularpublic sentiments,” he maintained.

The forum concluded to continue efforts in support of state institutionswhich are taking Pakistan on a positive trajectory of peace, stability andprosperity.
