ISLAMABAD – President Ashraf Ghani and Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullahhave accepted Abbasi’s invitation to visit Islamabad, Afghan media hasrevealed.

“Afghan leaders accepted their invitation, but the time and the agenda ofthe visits are yet to be determined,” Javid Faisal, deputy spokesman to thecountry’s Chief Executive said.

During his meetings with the Afghan leaders, Pakistan’s PM has alsopromised to cooperate in facilitating direct peace talks between the Afghangovernment and the Taliban.
