ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi will lead the Pakistandelegation to the Boao Forum Annual Conference for Asia being held in Boao,China.

According to Foreign Office Spokesperson, the main theme of this conferencethat began today is “An Open and Innovative Asia for a World of greaterProsperity”.

The Prime Minister will be one of the keynote speakers at the Forum alongwith President Xi Jinping, and other leaders attending the Annual Forum.

The Prime Minister will also hold bilateral meetings with the Chinese andother world leaders.

Boao Forum is a non-governmental and non-profit international organizationand it aims to promote and deepen economic coordination and cooperationwithin Asia, between Asia and other parts of the world.

The Forum would provide an opportunity to the Prime Minister to highlightthe progress achieved by Pakistan in successfully implementing ChinaPakistan Economic Corridor projects.
