ISLAMABAD – Pakistan dismisses baseless allegations circulating in asection of the Afghan media.

Responding to a question, the Spokesperson of the Foreign Officecategorically rejected callous and heartless attempts of certain sectionsof the Afghan media to exploit the tragic bombing at Kunduz seminary tocast baseless aspersions and insinuations against Pakistan.

He said this attempt is made by the segments that do not want goodrelations between Pakistan and Afghanistan.

He said that Pakistan having suffered the trauma of similar tragedies,understands and shares the grief of the bereaved families and our Afghanbrethren over the loss of precious lives in Kunduz.

Referring to ongoing positive engagements with the Afghan Government hesaid, Pakistan is committed to do all it can in support of the brave Afghannation and its security forces in the quest for lasting peace and stability.
