KARACHI – Early summer holidays for public and private schools announced bySindh government, on Monday.

Summer vacations are being held early due to the blistering heat and startof the Holy month of Ramazan. The notification states that “summervacations for all public and private educational institutions in Sindh”have been rescheduled to May 14 to July 16.

“All the educational institutions shall open on July 17,” the notificationadds.

On Sunday, the Sindh education department had submitted a summary to ChiefMinister Murad Ali Shah seeking early summer vacations for schools acrossthe province, which was approved on Monday.
