NAROWAL: The attacker who shot Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal today has maderevelations that why he attacked Ahsan Iqbal.

He has confessed to having opened fire at him over the Khatm-e-Nabuwatissue.

According to reports, the attacker, identified as Abid Hussain, confessedto his crime saying that he attacked the lawmaker over the Khatm-e-Nabuwatissue and that it was his individual act.

The 21-year-old is the resident of Kanjoor village, where Ahsan had earlieraddressed a gathering before being shot.

Ahsan Iqbal was shot in his arm while addressing a corner meeting in hisconstituency and was rushed to the hospital immediately. He was latershifted to Lahore for further treatment.
