KARACHI – The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) carried out operation intwo separate locations in Karachi on Friday and arrested four terrorists,Dunya News reported.
According to details, CTD officials carried out operation in SITE Area andarrested two terrorists identified as Kaiftan and Muhammad Irshad. The CTDsources informed that the arrested terrorists were involved in fund raisingactivities for Tehreek-e-Taliban.
In a separate operation, CTD officials arrested two terrorists identifiedas Kashan and Abdur Rauf from PCSIR Society area. CTD sources informed thatthe arrested terrorists were involved in fund raising activities forLashkar-e-Jhangvi.
The CTD sources further informed that the arrested terrorists were trainedin Afghanistan.
