Army Chief is all praise for Punjab Police jawan over his bravery

*RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff General Qammar Javed Bajwa hasacknowledged the sacrifice of Punjab Police constable Sabir Hussain wholost his limb during an operation in Dera Ghazi Khan.*

According to the Inter Services Public relation, the army chief hasdirected the Armed Forces Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine (AFIRM) inRawalpindi provide prosthetic limbs to the constable.

“COAS acknowledges great sacrifice of Constable Sabir Hussain of PunjabPolice who lost his limb during an operation in DG Khan. COAS directs ArmyRehabilitation Institute AFIRM to undertake artificial limb procedure forthe brave constable,” stated DG ISPR Maj General Asif Ghafoor.

The incident took placed on February in DG Khan where terror suspectsattacked a police in which constable Sabir Hussain was seriously injured.

The constable received several gunshots to his feet and hands, and his legwas amputated in the incident. However, he would now undergo artificiallimb procedure at the army rehabilitation institute.
