LAHORE – Former Governor Punjab, Zulfiqar Ali Khosa along with his son DostMuhammed Khosa, who also served as the Chief Minister Punjab will announcetheir defection to the recently formed South Punjab Alliance in a pressconference soon.
Moreover, ex-MPA’s Maqsood Laghari and Muhammed Khan Laghari will also jointhe alliance in days to come, according to media reports.
Earlier, in a devastating blow to the embattled Pakistan Muslim LeagueNawaz, as many as 8 legislators had announced their decisions to leave theparty to advocate the cause of South Punjab and demand a new province.
The deserted legislators claimed that South Punjab was being ignored,demanding – in one breath – that a new province was their ultimateobjective.
