KABUL – President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani has issued a new order to theAfghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF) to eliminate terroristsafter an ambush left the deputy provincial governor of Logar province dead.

The Office of the President, ARG Palace, said President Ghani stronglycondemned the attack on deputy governor of Logar Qamaruddin Shakib.

President Ghani also hailed Mr. Shakib for his services and efforts forgood governance and to serve the Afghan people.

He said the enemies of the country will not be able to achieve theirtargets through terror, use of force, and violnce as he instructed thesecurity and defense forces to take resolute steps to eliminate theterrorists.
