KABUL- At least one police force member was wounded in an explosion in thecenter of the city on Wednesday evening.

Interior Ministry spokesman Najib Danish told TOLOnews that a magnetic bombhad been detonated. He said it occurred in Deh Afghanan area in Kabul’sPD2.

He added that one police force member was “slightly wounded” in the blastand was taken to a nearby health facility. Danish said police have startedinvestigating the incident.

The explosion comes just days after a deadly blast near a voterregistration center in the west of Kabul which killed at least 60 people.
