ISLAMABAD – The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Wednesday summonedKhyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak in case pertaining tomisuse of provincial government’s helicopter by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf(PTI) chairman Imran Khan.
The anti-graft watchdog will question the KP CM about the misuse ofprovincial government’s helicopter by PTI chairman Imran Khan.
Earlier, the NAB chairman Justice (r) Javed Iqbal had directed KhyberPakhtunkhwa (KP) Director General (DG) of the bureau to lodge an inquiryinto use of KP government’s helicopter by the PTI chairman in personalcapacity.
The provincial government led by PTI had submitted its response toanti-graft agency’s inquiry team.
The KP government had submitted the details of helicopter usage in itstenure and informed the anti-graft body that PTI chairman Imran Khan paidthe expenses whenever he used the government’s helicopter.
Authorities have also submitted the record of helicopter’s purchase in2008, usage, rules and regulations and purchase agreement to the NationalAccountability Bureau.
