ISLAMABAD – Neglected and Rejected Pakistani Batsman Fawad Alam has taken amajor decision after being dropped from the Pakisan squad for England.
Fawad Alam has signed to play for the Clitheroe Cricket Club in theLancashire League.
Fawad Alam was overlooked during the selection of the Pakistan Test teamfor the tour of Ireland and England.
The Men in Green, under the leadership of Sarfraz Ahmed, will play one Testagainst Ireland, which will start from May 11 in Dublin, and then twoagainst England, which will begin from May 24 in London.
The 32-year old has already represented Clitheroe Cricket Club in theprevious edition, where he helped them in the trophy triumph.
Alam’s snub from the national team brought chief selector Inzamamul Haqunder severe criticism from all cricketing circles.
