QUETTA – A third blast has hit Quetta at the Airport road. The initialreport suggests the police van was the target and atleast 5 police soldiershave been martyred and several injured.

Earlier two explosions were reported in the city on Tuesday eveningfollowed by gunfire.

Atleast two soldiers have been martyred and eight others have been reportedinjured in the blasts.

According to reports the explosions have taken place in the Mian Ghundiarea of the city. The bomb disposal squad has been dispatched to the siteof the explosions.

The nature of the explosion is being examined.
