Nawaz Sharif vow to continue suicide mission

ISLAMABAD – Nawaz Sharif had spurned Shehbaz Sharif and Shahid KhaqanAbbasi’s requests aimed at relinquishing aggressive tone and restrainingfrom confrontation with state-institutions.

Shehbaz Sharif and Khaqan Abbasi had arrived at Punjab House to pacifyPakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) supremo.

Nawaz asserted that neither he had done anything evil nor he had statedanything [in the interview] which stood against the facts. “If I suffer anypolitical loss on basis of this interview then I’m ready for theconsequences”, stated Sharif.

Sharif made it overtly clear on the PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif andpremier Shahid Khaqan Abbasi that he would carry forward same narrative inthe general polls 2018 while asserting that the same would become party’sprowess.

On the other hand, both PM and Punjab CM apprised Nawaz that his remarkspertaining to 26/11 Mumbai attacks had tarnished party’s image whereaspublic opinion had drastically shifted against PML-N [following interviewwith Dawn’s Cyril Almeida].

Strained by the evolving situation and dramatic turns of events, Punjab CMwarned his elder brother that several lawmakers were ready to join ranks offoes citing the aforementioned interview. Premier also warned supremo thatsuch statements would only bring harm to none other than incumbentgovernment.

Sharif—after hearing arguments—repudiated requests made by the seniorleaders while stating that all he wanted was supremacy of parliament. “Somelegislators and party’s stalwarts are being pressurized to switch loyaltieswhile others are looking for excuses. I will not stop those who want to bidfarewell”.
