ISLAMABAD: Work is in progress to fix the fault and restore power supply in affected areas of Islamabad, Punjab and KPK.
A spokesman of power division said the supply was affected because of tripping of major power plants.
He said power generation had dropped to 11,800 MW, but has now started increasing with hydropower generation and connecting Ghazi Barotha with national grid.
The spokesman said the power supply system in Sindh and Balochistan is functioning normally. APP
