ISLAMABAD – US diplomat Col Joseph, who had crushed a youth to death byviolating a traffic signal, left Pakistan on Monday.

Diplomatic sources said that Co Joseph has exemption under the ViennaConvention 1961 and Pakistan Diplomatic Privilege Law 1972, 92 News hasreported.

Earlier on Saturday, the authorities had stopped Col Joseph from leavingPakistan.

As a result, C-130 plane had to leave with his family and luggage from NurKhan Airbase. Col Joseph was again shifted to the US Embassy.
