WASHINGTON: US and South Korea have welcomed North Korea’s announcement to dismantle its nuclear test site and uphold its pledge to discontinue nuclear tests.

Official Korean Central News Agency said a ceremony for this purpose will take place between 23rd and 25th of this month.

North Korean state media outlets widely reported the country’s decision to dismantle its nuclear test site, a move seen as underscoring its seriousness about denuclearisation.
