RAWALPINDI: PMLN leader lands in trouble as Interpol has issued a rednotice against him for killing of journalist in Silakot.
Federal Investigation Agency had sought Interpol’s help to arrest ImranCheema aka Mani, chairman of the Begowal Union Council, wanted by theSialkot police in connection with the murder of Zeeshan Butt, a reporter ofan Urdu newspaper.
They said the suspect had left for Dubai after killing the journalist inSambrial tehsil of Sialkot in March this year.
Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Mian Saqib Nisar had taken suo motunotice of the killing and directed Punjab IG Arif Nawaz to submit aprogress report on the matter within 10 days.
