Severe earthquake jolts Pakistan, recorded as highest intensity earthquake of year in country

*PESHAWAR: Severe earthquake has jolted parts of Pakistan includingIslamabad, Lahore, Peshawar, Chitral, Gilgit-Baltistan for the second timeon Wednesday with quakes.*

*Earlier in the day, a moderate earthquake measuring 5.5 on the Richterscale jolted upper parts of the country.*

According to details, the epicenter of the earthquake was located to 30kilometres from Bannu at a depth of 12 kilometres.

The tremors were felt in several cities including Islamabad, Peshawar,Mardan, Nowshera, Mansehra, Abbotabad, Haripur, Mingora, Charsadda andother adjoining areas.

There was no immediate report regarding loss to life or property fromanywhere.
