Pakistan under fifth generation warfare

RAWALPINDI: Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa saidon Tuesday that some elements are trying to influence the minds of ouryouth to create anarchy and dissatisfaction in the society.

This is a part of fifth generation warfare which is being imposed uponPakistan from the enemy. In this war enemy spreads anarchy, dissatisfactionand disappointment in the society.

“The Pakistan Army will ensure the defence of the motherland in dischargeof our constitutional duties. It is for everyone to ensure that they abideby law of the land and remain within the bounds of Constitution,” the COASsaid while interacting with youth from various universities during hisvisit to Quetta.

According to the ISPR, General Bajwa asked the youth to take Pakistanforward through devotion, hard work and character. The COAS said the armywill wholeheartedly support the government in bringing a revolution inservices, particularly in the fields of education, health, electricity,water and infrastructure.

“Our aim is to ensure that Balochistan does not have to rely on any quotaor special arrangement, rather, people have the same level of life as theycan in any other part of the country,” he said.

General Bajwa said Pakistan had rejected terrorism and achieved betterpeace after great sacrifices by the armed forces backed by the wholenation. During the visit, the army chief inaugurated work on border fencingalong the Balochistan portion of Pak-Afghan border at Panjpai. BalochistanChief Minister Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo and Home Minister Sarfraz Bugti werealso present on the occasion.
