LONDON – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s ex-wife RehamKhan has reportedly sought former Pakistan ambassador to the United StatesHussain Haqqani’s assistance to get her book published.
According to the report, Reham has written about Imran Khan and his firstwife Jemima Khan in detail in her book. The unpublished book also talksabout the personal life of cricketer-turned-politician, including hishobbies, details of his meetings with different political leaders, etc.
In the book, Reham Khan has written about her life at Bani Gala and howhard it was, while praising Shehbaz Sharif by calling him “man of hiswords”.
Three to four different names have been discussed for this controversialbook and as per reports, “Sparkling Bani Gala” is at the top.
According to the report, the former wife of the PTI chief is currently inLondon to get the book published but the publishers have refused to publishit due to strict defamation laws in England. Following which, Reham metHussain Haqqani at Harvey Nichols, where she sought his help in publishingher book.
If publishers in England refuse to publish the book, Reham will contactpublishers in India and US through Haqqani, the report claimed.
Imran Khan can be disqualified under Article 62 and 63 after the launch ofthis book, the report claimed, adding, Reham is trying to get the bookpublished before general elections 2018.
The report further claimed that Imran Khan’s political opponents areassisting Reham Khan in this whole process.
