Indian Troops have martyred 31 Kashmiris including 6 minors in fake encounters

SRINAGAR – In Occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their continued acts ofstate terrorism have martyred thirty-one Kashmiris including a woman andsix young boys during last month.

According to Research Section of Kashmir Media Service, 314 people wereinjured due to use of brute force, including firing of bullets, pellets andteargas shells by Indian army, paramilitary and police personnel onpeaceful protesters.

About 288 persons, including Hurriyet leaders, activists and students, werearrested during house raids and crackdown operations. The troops alsodamaged sixty-seven residential houses and disgraced six women during themonth.

Meanwhile, complete shutdown will be observed in occupied territorytomorrow against surge in civilian killings, desecration of religiousplaces and graves of martyrs, chopping of fruit orchards at Sugam inShopian by Indian troops and plight of Kashmiri prisoners in various jails.

Call for shutdown has been given by Joint Resistance Leadership comprisingSyed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik.

Peaceful demonstrations were held outside Jamia Masjid at Nowhatta, LalChowk, Hyderpora and other areas of Srinagar, today to press demand forrelease of Kashmiri detainees and an end to Indian troops’ atrocities inoccupied territory.

Addressing a gathering at Masjid Bilal in Srinagar, Muhammad Yasin Maliksaid such brutal tactics could not subdue the resolve of Kashmiri people tocarry forward their liberation struggle.
