BEIJING – Chinese experts have said that China-Pakistan Economic Corridor(CPEC) has developed faster than expected.
In an interview with Global Times a senior research fellow at the ChongyangInstitute for Financial Studies at the Renmin University of China, ZhouRong said the future of the CPEC project depends upon political stabilityin Pakistan.
Zhou said besides motorways other projects like power plants have alreadystarted benefiting people in Pakistan.
Director of the Institute of International Affairs at the RenminUniversity, Wang Yiwei noted that despite challenges CPEC can be an exampleof regional growth and stability.
