DUBAI – The South African batting legend, AB de Villiers may feature thesecond season of T10 League which is to take place later this year.
AB de Villiers recently announced his retirement from international cricketwith the immediate effect which came as a surprise to his fans and cricketexperts as no one anticipated it.
However, fans may get to see his explosive batting in the T10 League, whichhas been seen as a revolutionary cricket format since it was first playedin 2017.
Maratha Arabians are looking to rope in the former South African skipperand their co-owner owner Parvez Khan is optimistic about his inclusion.
“I am positive and he is also responding positive, I have spoken to him andhis manager, hopefully, he will be there along with a lot of other bigplayers, but he will be the biggest one,” revealed Parvez Khan, who is ahuge fan of AB.
“I love him a lot and respect him a lot for how he has played throughouthis career,” he went on to say.
Karachians announced Australia’s former all-rounder Shane Watson as theiricon player. Chairman T10 League, Shaji ul Mulk told that they wanted ShaneWatson in the first season of the league as well.
“For T10, Shane Watson is one big name we always wanted, last year wemissed a few big players like Shane Watson, AB de Villiers, Chris Gayle andothers, this year we are hoping all of them to be back,” told Shaji ulMulk. “Shane Watson signing up for Karachians and playing in the T10 Leagueis a great achievement.”
