ISLAMABAD – National Accountability Bureau (NAB) suspects embezzlement andirregularities worth billions in the Orange Line Metro Train Project.
NAB has extended ongoing probe against alleged irregularities inmulti-billion dollars Orange Line Train Project.
Sources privy to development stated that anti-graft watchdog had acquiredrecord pertaining to awarding contracts. On the other hand, ShehbazSharif-led Punjab govt had refused to hand over record of key contracts toNAB.
Inside-aware revealed laws were either disregarded or revoked whilecontracts were given on basis of sheer nepotism.
Separate contracts were awarded for route or Orange Line Train andconstruction of roads.
Likewise, Punjab govt has refused to share details of accord sign withChinese government with NAB.
