Dr Nadia Aziz, PML-N turncoat politician embarrassed in home town over switching loyalty yet again

LAHORE – A lawmaker from Punjab invited a storm in her hometown as she quitthe Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) to join the opposition party –Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) – just a month from next general elections.

Dr. Nadia Aziz had joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) after holding ameeting with PTI chairman Imran Khan on Monday.

Following her announcement, angry workers of the ruling party displayedpanaflex posters featuring the MPA and a lota, a round water pot ofplastic, used to personify a ‘turncoat’ in Pakistan.

The banners, which kept on hanging across the city for hours, also carriedwords in Urdu, calling her “opportunist”
