LONDON – Former prime minister Pakistan Nawaz Sharif and his daughterMaryam Nawaz Sharif will come back to Pakistan in a week.

Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader consulted party leaders in thisregard. Moreover, the pressure from party workers on party leadership toreturn back to Pakistan was also considered.

However, according to sources, a suggestion to have Maryam Nawaz return toPakistan before Sharif himself is under consideration as well.

Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz have decided to lead party’s electioncampaign for upcoming polls. Former prime minister has ordered preparationsfor rallies in various cities across the country pertaining to partyelection campaign.

But, however, before returning back to Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif will meetdoctors of her ailing wife, Begum Kulsoom Nawaz, for discussing her currentcondition and progress and a detailed medical check-up and a computedtomography (CT) scan of Begum Kulsoom will also be carried out.

Prior to this, Maryam Nawaz had said their return depended on the conditionof Begum Kulsoom, who has been on the ventilator for a few weeks now. Shehad explained that she would return on the first available flight as soonher ailing mother’s condition improves.
