LONDON – Maryam Nawaz, daughter of Nawaz Sharif, has linked their return tothe country to the recovery of her mother Begum Kulsoom Nawaz.

Talking to journalists outside Harley Street on Saturday, she said that the2018 elections is a referendum.

She said that Nawaz Sharif has reached each house. “The people know verywell for who they will vote. Nawaz Sharif has placed the problems of thecountry before the people,” she added.

The PML-N leader said that the nation will make a goof decision fordemocracy. “The PML-N is being targeted, but it cannot be kept away fromthe masses,” she said.

Maryam said that the voter cannot be bought and the PML-N voter will putthe stamp on the ‘Lion’.

She said that Kulsoom’s health has improved and infection has beencontrolled.

However, Nawaz Sharif avoided the questions by journalists and said thatKulsoom Nawaz is on the ventilator. “She is unconscious. Please pray forher health,” he added.
