ISLAMABAD – Accountability court on Monday has extended exemption ofex-prime minister Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz for three moredays from hearing of references.

During the hearing headed by Justice Mohammad Bashir, the exemption plea ofthe accused and report of Nawaz’s wife Begum Kulsoom Nawaz were submitted.

The deputy prosecutor of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) raisedobjection over the report for not having doctor’s signature. The defencelawyer said that Begum Kulsoom is on ventilator and getting better.

The report stated that Kulsoom Nawaz was shifted to the hospital on June 14after heart attack, where the doctors said that her kidneys are not workingproperly.

The lawyer told that the therapy of the patient has begun for furthertreatment
