ISLAMABAD – A recent video of a man begging on board a Shiraz-bound flightfrom Doha went viral on Tuesday.
With sources at Pakistan’s Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) quashing rumorsthat the man was a Pakistani national.
They said the viral video featuring a beggar in a Qatar Airways plane hasnothing to do with Pakistan, adding that the video was made in flight fromDoha to Shiraz and not anywhere in Pakistan.
Earlier, social media users speculated that the incident took place in aBangkok-bound flight at the Karachi airport.
Social media users expressed their shock at how the man in question managedto book the flight.
In the video, the unidentified person can be seen begging as the airhostess tries to stop him. Unable to control the situation, the air hostessthen proceeds to call upon a male crew for help.
In the meantime, some passengers handed the man some money in a bid to helphim.
