ANKARA: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani have welcomed a UN General Assembly resolution that urges protection for Palestinians.
The two leaders also exchanged views over telephone on bilateral relations and regional issues and exchanged Eid greetings.
Erdogan also spoke with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and discussed the latest developments in Palestine.
