NEW DELHI – Four Indian Border Security Force (BSF) jawans were killed byPakistan rangers retaliatory fire in Chambliyal sector of Samba district inOccupied Jammu and Kashmir, Zee News has reported.
The mortal remains of soldier Hansraj Gurjar was slated to reach his nativeplace on Wednesday night for the cremation to be held on Thursday. Mortalremains of two other soldiers, who hailed from Rajasthan – CommandantJitendra Singh and assistant sub inspector Ramniwas – were also expected toreach Jaipur and Sikar respectively on Wednesday night.
Sub inspector Rajneesh Kumar’s mortal remains is likely to reach hisresidence in Etah in Uttar Pradesh on Thursday morning.
The jawans lost their lives in retaliatory fire which began on Tuesdaynight. It came days after the two border guarding forces, at a sectorcommander-level meeting on June 4, agreed to maintain peace andtranquillity along the IB.
