Hamza Shahbaz Sharif in trouble over Ayesha Ahad case

LAHORE: Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Mian Saqib Nisar on Sundaysummoned Hamza Shehbaz and Ayesha Ahad at the Supreme Court Lahore Registryon Monday.

“If Hamza Shehbaz is in town then he should appear before the apex court’sLahore Registry tomorrow,” the CJP remarked.

During the hearing of the case, Ayesha Ahad’s counsel told the court,“Despite the fact that a case has been registered, no arrests have beenmade.”

Last week, Ayesha Ahad registered a complaint against Hamza and ShehbazSharif’s son-in-law Ali Imran.

In the complaint, she accused Hamza of violence, issuing threats to lifeand usurpation of possessions, including jewelry, a mobile phone and herpurse. Ayesha Ahad alleged that people sent by Hamza forcefully took herlaptop, nikahnama (marriage contract) and other documents.

Justice Nisar had taken notice on Ayesha Ahad’s complaint after sheapproached him against the delay in her cases and threats to her and herdaughter’s lives.
